Hello all my name is Judi and I will be 51 yrs young tomorrow. I began a serious weight loss adventure in Feb of 2006 starting at 261 by taking out reg soda and watching what portions of things I ate and walking, by Aug I had lost down to 219. At that point I gained custody of a 9 mo and 15 mo old to add to our house. I was working outside the home at that time as well. The stress of adding the babies to our home and the stress of the entire situation with the bio parents I began to slowly put the weight back on. 2007 and 2008 brought more headache and heartache where the babies were concerned and since I am a stress eater the pds flew back on. I am happy to say that in May of 2008 the girls became ours thru adoption and things seem to have settled to a somewhat even keel around here. I have also in my home my 11 yr old grandson that I have had since birth and we just found out he had ADD. He is wanting to slim down and I HAVE to remove some of the extra pds I am carrying. I need knee replacement again and I need to be as healthy as I can for my little dd's. (I have older kids ranging in age from 30-22) as well as 12 other grandkids. So the title of the group caught my eye and here I am. I will be honest I will need kicks in the butt all the time. I will begin my diet on Jan 5. Jan 1 is my bday, Jan 2 is dd who will be 4, Jan 8 dd who will be 3, we are going to celebrate this weekend and get it done and over with.
I live in Vincennes IN, I love to read and craft when I can find the time. I just got a new grandbaby on 12/19 who is going to be the apple of my eye, she has me wrapped all ready lol.
