Hi my name is Karen. A friend told me about this site. I am scheduled to have gastric bypass surgery this upcoming Tuesday morning. I need to loose close to 200 lbs. I had planned on having the lap band done, but after meeting with the surgeon he feels like I should have the gastric bypass instead. I have researched the lap band but don't know too much about the other. My friend told me that she thought I could find some good info on here, as well as discover a supportive group of people.
