Wink Hi all! ~ Starting Over

hello!

thanks for giving me this opportunity to join a wonderful community (I've been hunting for one for a while now!). I really need the extra help & support that comes from an online community, as I haven't been accountable enough to do it alone!!

Here's the "skinny" on me!

I'm in my mid-twenties, been overweight all my life.
Lost 121 lbs once I started college, slowly gained it all back.
Worked at a restaurant, that didn't help, then injured my back and was disabled for several months.

Well now here I am and very close to graduating from college!! Yay
I need to open a new chapter in my life and start over again, all clean. It's so hard to stay on track during school, but I have the motivation this time, it's my senior year and there's no way I'm going to be able to keep up with the physical activity level required for my job.

I look forward to chatting with you all very soon!

THANKS!

Hi RN -

Well, there are a lot of places you might look at here. We have the 20-somethings, for those in their 20's. We also have both the 100 lb club (for those aiming to lose 100 lbs or more) and the 300+ club, for those with a starting weight of 300 lbs or more. Any of these might be great spots to check out.

We also have groups by eating plan, so look around and settle in. Can't wait to get to know you better.

Default Welcome

Hi I am just finishing up my BSN as well, I am also new to the site and have so far found it very helpful and inspiring. I hope to chat with you since we have very similar backgrounds. I have been posting in the 20 something forums. Good luck we can do it!

Awesome! Yes it is nice to know there are others going through the same thing. I need to set an example for my patients, because I don't want to get the eye-rolling when I try to do lifestyle teaching. Hope to see you around!!
