Hey Ladies,
I just wanted to share that I got my tummy tuck and breast lift / implants on Wednesday. I’m doing great. The recovery is a very painful process, I can’t stand up strait, it hurts to walk, and do most other things. But slowly I’m recovering. Today has been kindof rough because the morphine/lidocane pump that they put in is all used up so a lot of the numbness is going away and I can feel more of it.

But the doctor said that everything went really well. She was surprised that she took 12 POUNDS OF SKIN. Normally she expects to cut more tissue out with the skin and lipo some fat with it but there was barely any fat for her to take off my abdomen (although she did get some fat and tissue in addition to the skin). All of the nurses kept raving about how inspirational I was and asking me questions about my weight loss. Then they also keep asking if I was dating someone and kept saying well that is going to change once people see you now.

As for my chest, it is still really swollen and bruised. I’m waiting for them to start to drop into place.

I go see my doctor on Monday and I’ll provide more updates. I have before pictures but I need to upload them to my computer still.

My niece just had a breast reduction and lipo done, and she was also in a lot of pain (especially the breasts). Worse than she was expecting. I so hope it works for her. I think it's very brave to go through surgery like that and hope that you are soon feeling better. I know you will love your new look once all the swelling is down. Congratulations on your wonderful weight loss.
