I have been on here for a while. I started here on the South Beach Diet. My husband and I tried it for a bit. But, we really didn't like it.
Then I started calorie counting. Which works well for me, I like to eat what I want to eat. It worked allright for me. I was down to 150. I had lost 10lbs since I joined here.
Then we went on vacation!!! And well.. we all know what happens! And I got my period just after and instead of being in control... I lost it! I gained back what I lost. Fortunately I didn't gain anything extra.
I also pulled off 2lbs, but I think that was from bloating of the period. I bloat up a lot!
I have resolved that tomorrow I will get back on track!
I am not on any specific diet. I eat smaller portions. I try for about 300 calories/ meal or snack. A lot of dairy, beans and vegetables. I generally eat very little meat. We generally eat fish mainly. Meat only when we eat out. Minus chicken or bacon here and there.
My goal had originally been 130lbs. However, my husbands mom lost a bunch of weight, she's at 130lbs. And I honestly don't want to look that thin. And I look thin quicker than her. So I'm going to try for 140ish. Basically a low of 135 and a high of 145. So 140 will be my goal!
Right now I'm at 158lbs. So I only have 18lbs. to go! I think with the support here, I'll be able to do it!!!
