Default Candace Cameron's Weight Loss (US Cover)

I have to admit LOL-ing at the dramatic US Mag headline....

FULL HOUSE'S CANDACE CAMERON

HOW I LOST 22 LBS ON MY OWN!

NO TRAINER NO SURGERY!

Uh....do people really get SURGERY to lose 22 lbs?? I mean, good for her and everything, but it's not like nobody's ever lost 20 pounds before, just because she used to be a kid actor, she's supposed to have an entire staff to go on a diet or something?

Aww.. quit picking on her. people do use liposuction to get rid of extra weight. Reading about her weight loss is preferable to reading about these young stars getting DUI and being pictured passed out drunk or going on some other wild rampage.

I doubt she wrote the "Headline"

I thought she was very attractive on the cover

My kids grew up with her TV family! My son, now 27, had the biggest crush on her when he was around 10.

Many years ago, after my first wife moved out, my brother and his daughter and a buddy of mine moved in with me and my kids for a couple of years. The kids were always watching Full House. One evening the kids were with their moms...I looked around the room...just me, my brother and my buddy....I said...wow...we are addicted to Full House...kids aren't here and we are still watching it!...we busted up laughing!

I was...a Full House junkie!!

I used to get irritated when people would even say "I have 5 pounds to lose, or 10-20" It was like 5 pounds is nothing, 10 pounds is nothing, HA! But...if doesn't bother me anymore because I KNOW how hard it is to lose 1 pound. But too often you hear about 'stars' going to the extreme to lose weight so kudos to her for doing it on her own!

I think we all have our own struggles and although she was a little chubby as a kid, I'm sure trying to be an actress doesn't help when you even have 10 lbs on you that someone doesn't like. I never cared for her but did think she was 'cute' as a kid. So her struggle was 20 lbs and its good that she lost that for herself. Not everyone has 50, 100 or more lbs to lose, I think magazines should address those who have a little less as well.

The headline is stupid but what do you expect from Us?

Oh no I'm def not bagging on her, she looks great, I just thought the headline was a BIT overdramatic! And yes, typical of US -- weren't they the ones trumpeting Spencer & Heidi's fake wedding last week? LOL....

I think the way the media addresses the celeb weight issues is interesting, OMG you would think the world was coming to an end because Oprah weighs 200 pounds!

For her height and build....I don't even that 200 pounds is THAT catastrophic. I mean it's overweight but it's not like she's the only person who ever lost weight and regained it!

I'd love to lose 22 pounds and I would imagine alot of "Hollywood" does liposuction for even a small amount of weight...

Whether you need to lose 20 pounds or 220 pounds it is important to the person who needs to lose it. I say more power to the person who can lose 20 pounds before getting to 220 pounds to lose.
