Default Connectin between my morning coffee and my hunger?

I normally have a coffee M-F, b/c I'm not a morning person.

I noticed that yesterday I did not have my coffee and I was starving all day.

Today, I had my coffee and I was fine, not hungry at all. I mean I ate my breakfast, snack, and lunch. But yesterday w/o my coffee I ate so much more!

Does caffeine curve your appetite?

I think if you do anything everyday, and then miss one day, it will throw off your body.
If you drink coffee everyday then your body will expect it. If you choose to give it up, then your body will adjust.

I cannot even function without my cup of liquid life in the morning. Even on saturday and sunday. In fact, the last time I tried to make it a day without coffee I had actual physical withdrawl symptoms.

Yep. Caffeine does curb your appetite, some people more than others. That's probably why i'm never hungry because I drink coffee and tea all day. LoL. I'm pretty sure it's appetite-reducing effects are why it's the main ingredient in diet pills, or why taking green tea extract helps you lose weight.

Kind of does the opposite for me. I usually eat more when I do have coffee and I get all gassy for the day, lol.

Here we go, I find the same to be true. I always thought the warmth of my coffee and the splash of milk helped fill my tummy.

I think the caffeine makes you tend to be busier, mainly, and that would suppress your appetite.

I love my caffeine. If I don't have any I literally get withdrawl symptons, really bad headaches. Gotta have my daily cup of timmies coffee!!!!

i drink coffee sporadically and it definitely suppresses my appetite. and I read that cinnamon reduces appetite and helps prevent diabetes (helps you handle blood sugar better) so i sprinkle some in my coffee too!

I definitely notice that drinking coffee seems to curb my appetite. I have a small cup first thing in the morning, and then have to have a break of half an hour to an hour before I eat my breakfast. It makes me feel quite full and I don't feel like eating straight after it.
