So, for the first time, I did the 30 Day Shred - Level 1 workout. It definitely is a good workout and I love the fact that it is so short compared to other workouts. I think it really help me to start lose some of this baby weight...but I do have a few questions for those who have (and I guess even if you haven't) completed it for 30 days. So here goes it:
1. After 30 days of the workout how much weight did you lose?
2. Do you workout with or without shoes on? (weird question I know)
3. When do you move up a level? Did you do level 1 for 30 days, then level 2 for 30 days, etc??
i love 30ds!! i have been doing it since nov. 21st. from the 21st to dec. 1st i lost 6". it's more now, but i don't know how much (i only do measurements on the 1st of each month, except the day i started 30ds and i will do it again on the 20th to see how it went my first full month). to date i have lost 4.5lbs. (from the 21st to today, about 2 1/2 weeks).
i do have shoes on during 30ds, although the first few times i did it i thought about taking them off, not sure why, but it was a thought i had.
as far as moving up to the next level, most people (from what i have read on here) do 10 days at each level. i only did 8 on level 1 before i moved up to level 2. i think it is more up to you and what you feel like. if you feel like you can do more, move up. if you are feeling like you are barely getting through, keep going on level 1. if you think you are ready for level 2, give it a try, you can always go back to level 1 if you need to build more strength.
hope that helps! i'm sure more people will respond!

Hey girl. I'm on my 3rd month of 30ds.
1. I did not lose a lot of weight. Maybe 2 pounds, but I lost 14 inches my first month, I'm at 34 inches right now, plus 10 inches that I lost my first 2 months of working out w/o the 30ds. Make sure you measure yourself, this is where you'll see the most results.
2. Please wear shoes! You need the support for your feet.
3. Even when each level feels easy, I did 10 days for each. To me, level 2 was so hard and i was so glad that I did level 1 for 10 days or I couldn't have done it.
I did the first few days without shoes, and I've found that the shoes are really necessary. I have awful balance, so they help with that for some exercises, plus it's good to have the support with all the jumping up and down stuff.
Thanks for posting responses ladies. I also am very interested about the 30ds. What kinds of exercises does it have you do? And I would love to hear about your results! Sorry for adding another question. Thanks!
I didn't wear shoes for level 1 because I don't like shoes, but it was necessary for level 2. That plank move where you jump back and forth is impossible without them. I was sliding all over the place with bare feet!
I just purchased the shred to and have been debating between using this for the next month or turbulence training. I am also wondering how much people who have tried this lost (weight or inches) during the 30 days and how much weight you had to lose initially.
Ah! I tried the 30ds it was a little rough for me, i think because i am just so out of shape (THAT WOMAN IS HARSH)
However, i do intend on starting it probably after new years..
And for those of you who dont have it, but would like to try it,
Netflix offers hundreds of workout dvd's for everyone who is curious about a certain workout video they would like to try, thats how i try mine out, and SOME of the movies you can play right from your computer to see what they are like!
