Hi girls. Just wanted to ask for some prayers. The VA told us that they'd accept payments for a previous military debt, so we sent in a payment. Well, not only did they take that payment, they also took Tom's entire GI Bill payment for the month of December, and are going to do it again in January and most of February. That's half of our income, gone.
I don't know how we're going to pay the bills. We're kind of helpless right now. I'm trying not to have complete and total anxiety attacks.
So please say a prayer for our little family. I don't know what to do. Even if Tom dropped out of school and got a job, he still couldn't make enough now to cover our bills. Anyone want to host a Mary Kay Web Show? I'm out of ideas.
I know God will provide, but I'm still in anxiety/shock mode. Please pray.
Weezle, prayers to you. But can you not make some phone calls to see if this can be reversed. Maybe if there is an arbitrator you can explain your situation. Don't take this lying down.

Many hugs & prayers Lisa, there is never a good time for something like this to happen but around the holidays makes all that much more stressful. Hang in there girl!
Tom's on the phone with them right now. They make it extremely difficult for you to get through to talk to them. For example, the 800 # he needed to call would connect and then hang up (40 times) before it finally accepted his call. I really hope and pray that they at least give us his check starting next month. I just doubt that they're going to reverse the payment from this month.
I'm taking a mental health day today once my assistant comes in.
You're both in my prayers, Lisa. The way our veterans is treated just appalls me. They give so much and I hate to see them mistreated in return. The fact that the 800# hangs up on you is awful.
