Congratulations! That first burst of big weight loss always feels fantastic...and carries you through the slightly slower (but no less satisfactory...) weeks to come.
I am, however, with the strength/resistance training bunch. You don't have to join a gym or spend a lot of money to do it. You can do exercises with just your own body weight like push-ups/wall push-ups, crunches, squats, lunges, leg lifts, etc., etc. and for about $20 you can get a set of three resistance bands from a place like Target...or get individual ones at a fitness store (This is what I use...I like the ones with handles and a door attachment for doing chest press and rowing exercises). The bands come with instructions and there are a number of sites on the internet with example workouts.
The resistance training will raise your metabolism 24/7 not just during the exercise itself like cardio does, and it will also give you a really nice "long, lean" look to your body...also you can be "smaller" even if you weigh more because lean muscle mass is heavy. While cardio is important (I do 45 minutes 6 days a week), I also do the resistance training three days a week.
