Default Terrific Tuesday Talk!

Good Morning, Can I kill my son yet? woke me up at 3:30 this am! "can you pick me up before work so I can stay at your place today?"

I did personals last night in case you didn't read the thread!

Today, not much outside of work... Got payroll done yesterday save for some extra's they are doing that I don't have the information on yet. Still enjoying the job. Had a job offer that was closer to home, would of loved the job but I like the one I am at! I think I'll stay put!

HOpe all is well with you all.

Lori

Morning Loriann! Hope that you have a super day!

Just a quick check in before I hop into the shower. I have to say that I had a PERFECT day of eating and exercise yesterday. It has been so long since I could say that- it felt great going to bed and I slept wonderfully. Same plan for today! I have all my meals ready to go and am hitting the gym for cardio after school.

Okay- need to go, I also need to finish up some reading for my Bible study tonight. We are reading 80% of the Bible over 34 weeks. It is awesome, but intense! I also feel like everyone in this study knows tons more than I do, so I don't talk a whole lot. (HArd to believe??)

Have a marvelous day chickies!

I got up, showered, and started right in cleaning the bathroom. What is wrong with me??????

Cleaning and wrapping presents will be the order of the morning, and Maggie and I are going to start decorating their playroom this afternoon. If there's time after Audrey gets home, they're eager to get started on their gingerbread house, too. Amber and Carley are coming over to make their houses this weekend, so that should be fun.

Lori, I guess your son figured you'd be getting up soon anyway. Had he been to bed yet?

Good morning, KIKO. Good for you for your perfect day and for being so motivated! Enjoy your Bible study, by the time the class is finished, you'll know just as much as everyone else. I think it's wonderful to be studying the Bible, there's so much in there that I haven't read yet.

Good morning, EarlyChicks.

Loriann, I'm glad you love your new job, Want me to kill your son for you? That is completely unreasonable and inconsiderate!

Kiko, good for you, having a perfect day. That's my ambition for today. Reading for The Proclamation last week made me realize how much of the Bible I don't know - or maybe I just can't remember.

Cottage, I started my day by wrapping a tempting box of chocolates - not as crazy as cleaning the bathroom but still.... Maybe we're gearing up for the season? Making a gingerbread house sounds like fun.

Spent a quiet day on the homefront yesterday doing stuff around here. I did dig out a few decorations. The storage is upstairs so I bring down something every time I'm up there. Today I need to make a comprehensive grocery list as I need to make my goodie list. My friends and I have decided no gifts this year as we are donating the money to the Food Bank but I do want to make smallish goodie baskets. I'd tell you what I'm making but it's Food Porn. (Reminder to Self: Get chocolate added to the site censor program!)

Claire and I do the Food Bank this morning so it's time to get dressed, clear my kitchen and saddle up. See you later. Stay strong!

Good Tuesday morning, everyone!

Lori: I would kill your son for you, but it looks like everyone else is taking care of that! It's great that you are starting to like your job more and more as the weeks go by. I'm glad you've found something that's good for you; that's hard in today's market. Enjoy your day!!

Kiko: WTG on getting a perfect day in! Wish I could say the same! I'm like you when I attend bible studies. I feel I know so little that I rarely chime in. But, I guess that's what bible study is for. Before you know it, you'll be able to respond quickly and intelligently to discussion questions. Just stick to it. (I need to follow my own advice!)

Cottage: I woke up and did the dishes and cleaned up several rooms, but only because I had to! I'd much rather be sleeping right now! I hope you'll post pics of the gingerbread creations!

Ruth: I think I'd like to be in your circle of friends! Although, your goody baskets may not be great for my Dec. weight loss goals. Have a great day at the Food Bank!

Me: I probably woke up too early, but it's nice to sit for a minute before having to hit the road. Everything's packed up and boss-man should be here in 20 minutes or so to get me. I'm really not looking forward to this drive, but oh well. I'll make the best of it. I brought a few new books to read on the way.

DH is still in bed and I hope he stays there for a while. He came home yesterday with "stomach problems". I'm trying not to assume that he just stayed home to play the Wii we bought this past weekend, but it's hard. That is what he did all day! But, if he is sick, I need him to get better! We've got a live tree at the nursery waiting for him to pick up!! I HAVE to decorate Sunday or it won't happen at all! Oh well. I made sure he was stocked up on soup and gatorade.

Well, I have time to check some more sites, so I will. I hope everyone to come has a great day and here's some if you need it!

~Kim

Good morning Chicks

Lori - Sounds like you could stick the 3FC Mom's Brigade on him I'm so glad the job thing worked out for you! Work isn't everything but it sure helps to like what you do and the people you do it with.

Cottage - I've always wanted to make a gingerbread house but never gotten around to it. I was just thinking the other day that I need to come up with an acceptable gingerbread recipe because I do love gingerbread.

Kiko - on a great day yesterday!

Ruth - I was thinking about you this weekend. I'm making some small jars of seasoned dried apple bits, raisins & chopped nuts to give with boxes of whole grain cereal mixes, I thought they would be fun and healthy. I love the Food bank idea. I'm trying to convince my brother and daughter that we should do something like that. None of us needs more stuff. Good for you on the chocolate packing & mailing. I'm trying not to think of the bag in my holiday gift stash.

Today is another long day here. I should get home around 7:30, so trying to plan enough filling snacks to avoid walking in the house and eating everything in sight! Our warm weather is going away and it feels more like December out there. I guess it had to happen.

Have a good day everyone!

ETA: Good morning Kim!

I'm heading into the office in 10 minutes so I don't have time for personals. I'm going to post the Exercise Queen today so hopefully everyone has entered and totalled up their time.

I'm planning to fix stewed turkey and noodles tonight if I have time. I've been working on coming up with ideas for Brian's Christmas and it isn't easy. I know he wants larger origami paper and I'm going to get him baseball card holders to hold his merit badge cards. I'm going to look through his Electronics and Electrical merit badge books to see if there are any kits or tools he might want me to buy. He isn't your typical 11 year old boy so it isn't as easy to buy for him (and he just bought himself a lot of what he wanted with his popcorn giftcards).

Morning! Did my first facial last night. Hot diggity dog! And my SIL is interested. Hopefully my brother doesn't dump a pail of water all over her dream. He really has no right to say anything, since he's moving to Chicago and leaving her here for 6 months, only coming home at Christmas. I'll whoop him if he tries to put her fire out!

Gotta start getting ready! Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning ladies, seems I don't have the time I would like anymore to post and today really isn't much different. I'm making the time though, stepped on the scales today and I am not a happy camper! Scales are at 119 which is up 7 pounds from my average for about a year. I am jumping back into P1 for a few days. The "just this once" has gotten way out of control and has turned into an everyday thing.

Sounds like I am not alone in my gain (shame on us) . Kudos to all you chicks who did so well over Thanksgiving!

Wish I had time for personals but I have a ton of work to do. Much willpower dust to all of us! Have a great day!

good morning

Loriann - sometimes kids have no concept of time. Good your payroll is done and you are relaxing a bit more on the job.

Kiko- glad you had a PERFECT day. That alone gives a good night's sleep.

Cottage - you have lots of patience. I only went as far as making
gingerbread cookies with my kids, maybe with my grandchildren I will make a gingerbread house.

Ruth - your cheerful disposition will be nice at the foodbank.

Kim - sick husbands are no fun. Need lots of attention.

Cyndi - its a long day for you. I love nessa bars but even that I can't control.

Barb - sounds like you have an interesting time with your son.

Lisa - a facial sounds good.

Me - I wish every weekend was the end of the month. I was so good this weekend because I knew I would be reporting my weight here. Soup making day today and more baking. My daughter's package is going out by Saturday as DH has his gallbladder out on Monday.

gonna - once in awhile I get a 404 saying that the site is busy. Usually hitting refresh does the trick.

-
Rough morning.

DH and I got into an argument about a minute before he had to leave for work. I hate the feeling of no resolution. I've been in tears all morning. I just hope he comes home in between classes. I hate being hormonal like this.

Happy Tuesday!!
I added a new soup recipe. Made it for lunch today... it was great!
Check it out. Rustic Italian Tomato Soup. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...83#post2477683

In a little while I am headed to the dentist to have my bridge started. Can't wait to be rid of this hole in my mouth!! I am going to see the foot doctor tomorrow. I don't feel right and exercise is making it worse. Hopefully she tells me something to make my foot feel better and exercise not as painful! I haven't done anything in 2 days and I feel guilty about that! How am I going to catch CindyM if I don't hit the gym?

Zeff - I hope you and DH worked things out. DH and I had "words" last night too. Ended on a positive note! Guess it was time to clear the air a little.
Loriann - I cannot beleive your son called that early!!
CindyM - Way to go on the exercise minutes! I don't know how you squeeze all that in. You always sound like you are super busy!
Ruth - My friends and I made candy this weekend to give away as gifts. My freezer is calling me! I need to box it all up and wrap it. No temptations then!
Weezle - a facial sounds great. Want to come up to Chicago?

It is a little warmer here, so snow and ice are melting a tad. It was a skating pond out there this morning. Welcome Winter! DS tells me he needs boots and snowpants for school. They are letting them play in the snow at recess. Can you beleive that? He has the boots, but his snowpants won't fit over his jeans. Guess where I am going after the dentist!

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday. Looking forward to Biggest Loser tonight!
Jenny

Since I started working out in March, I have lost 31 inches! It was slow and steady, but paying off!

If one of the mods can sticky the December Exercise thread and unsticky the November, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
