Thumbs up At home support Nov 23-29 TURKEY TIME

Well chickies This week is going to be a great week even though Turkey day is almost here. I am actually looking forward to it since I am the one cooking the dinner and will get to see what goes in each dish. I do have a few challenges since family members will be bringing a few items but I think I can work around it. I am also changing my shp day to thurs so I can eat a little extra.

I am glad to report this weeks wi for me was good I guess the mini tramp was doing its thing because I drank wine (several times) and still managed to lose 2lbs last week...I am so excited to have lost and not stayed the same or gain.

I want to thank you guys for the appetizer recipes I am doing practice runs today and monday to find the family favorites LOL

well I am off for now and will catch up with you later

Great job Nancy

AvsGirly - about the yogurt ... Yoplait makes wonderful FF/SF yogurts (35cals/each), my favorite is the dessert selection (4 flavors: lemon meringue parfait, raspberry crumble, strawberry cream, & cherry delight), they used to make a chocolate black forest cake flavor too! I usually mix them up with fruit & flax seed in the morning, but here's a yummy treat too: spread some yogurt on a graham wafter cracker, then a small dollup of FF cool whip on top, place 2nd graham wafer cracker on top. One indiv. yogurt makes at least 6 treats. I freeze them in a long flat covered container & take out 1 or 2 at a time for a treat (about 2 pts max per treat depending on the graham wafer cracker)!

Well...weigh-in this morning for me...so discouraging, it is really affecting me - last night I went to bed really positive that the scale would move this morning & it did - but up! from yesterday - so my net loss for this week is 3lbs. I'm still 1lb more than last Friday. I guess I just have to keep on keeping on eh!

Enjoy your Sunday ladies!

Cher you lost 3lbs that is awesome....I only get on the scale twice a week once on wi day and once mid week but only count the one on wi day. otherwise I would drive myself crazy -- oh wait a min I do drive myself crazy.

Thanks avs for the cheer!

Well I still need to add up my points for tonight. My sister invited us over for dinner, she cooked chicken breast, broccoli, sm baked potato's and crescent rolls. I was good and only ate one roll and 1/2 my potato the part that is going to get me is she baked a blackberry pie and I had a nice slice with a sm glass of sparkling cider. guess there went some of the flex points

congratulations Cher and Nancy on your losses. I lost .2 of a pound but I'm happy because I sure wasn't on plan this past week and I still lost. Wonder what I could lose if I put some effort into it. Have a great week and a great Thanksgiving everyone just in case I forget to come back here, I'm bad about that. Huggers

!!!! Way to Go AvsGirly !!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

I hope everyone's day is better than mine, I'm tired, stuffed up with a possible sinus infection & just polished off a bag of cheesies + a skor bar that hubby bought for me last night "because I've been so good at my exercising". Gee, a little sabatoge-ish maybe?!?!

Have a good day ladies! & remember to "Work the Plan, and the Plan will Work for You!"

YAY Nancy, Cher, and AvsGirly! Yay for losses! I have not been very good the last few days, or I know I would have had a really great weightloss week. Today was my WI and I was up slightly from mid-week, but I still lost a little over a pound. I'll take it, but I have got to get motivated to keep counting my points! I guess at least it was enough that my ticker moved... Did 25 minutes of exercise this morning. Packing most of the day. NO idea what we're going to have for dinner... let the crazy moving/Thanksgiving week begin!

All I can say is WOW to us chickies! We all have a bit of celebrating to do this week with our wi's.

I think we should celebrate and treat ourself to a nice 0pt snack LOL. Or better yet relax on turkey day and just enjoy family and friends and be thankful.

I did not work out yesterday I chose to take my sister up on a dinner invitation, thankfully she cooked foods that worked with me and my points right up until the time she served a hot blackberry pie and I could not resist a small slice. I still stayed in my pts though.

How are your days going?

How's everyone doing today? I am pretty good. I felt pretty great until (with all the packing and moving stuff around) I managed to have a little crock pot fall on my head. It was just the 2-person side, and it was in its box, but who does that? I now have a headache and my neck feels a little out of whack. Luckily, I happen to have a chiropractic appointment today, so they can correct it if i actually moved anything around.
I am SO going to been on plan today. And tomorrow. Especially since we got invited to a "real" Thanksgiving dinner Thursday (with all the trimmings). They won't even let us bring anything, since we're moving Friday. Fun, but definitely hazardous to my weight loss goals!

Great job on the loss Sara, Bad job on getting hit on the head This week has been hard for me to plan too and I am not moving!

I tried to have 0pt foods on hand so I would not be overly tempted since I plan on really let loose on thurs with food and wine!

Today I have stayed op and am looking forward to "bouncing" as I think of it on my daughters mini tramp. I tend to get myself really goal oriented when it comes to anything with a timer and distance/steps etc to watch. I started doing 30 min and reaching for 3,000 steps, then it went to 30 min and 3,500 steps, last night I was determined to do 4,000 steps but it took 37 mins which was ok if I calculated it right gave me another activity point. I think tonight I will just aim for 4,000 steps in 37 min again. I pushed pretty hard last night.....I hate competing with myslef LOL

Anyway hope you all are having a super duper day

Well I was not very good last night and the only thing I can say is I did work out and earn 5 activity points which counter the eating and wine LOL

Today is a lpt for me which is fine since tomorrow will be the big pig out day. Allthough I think I will do ok there. I know what foods will be here and as long as I do some portion control I will be fine.

How is everyone else feeling today?

Well I made it though turkey day and live up to the phrase eat, drink and be merry!. I weighed myself the day before and gained a pound so I don't even want to think what yesterday did to me.

I am back op today though and will get some activity points in tonight and tomorrow before my weigh in on Sunday

I hope all of you had a great day look forward to hearing from you

I did the same nancy, I ate and drank way too much wine and I didnt count a single point today so there is no telling how bad I did. I was out shopping today for 8 hours. I wonder how many activity points that is? Im gonna finish the rest of the wine in just a minute and will get back OP tomorrow starting with my interval walk/run first thing, but only after weigh in. Im quite scared to see what the scale is going to say.
