I need to challenge myself to NOT eat PIZZA for the next 30 days. It is always my downfall, my binge trigger, my constant source of anxiety...anyone with me on this?
Pizza is one of my fav foods to eat besides Sushi. Love all kinds of pizza too! I have been trying to tell myself that "thin" crust pizza is better for me! lol
This post made me snicker a bit but I'm not going to participate. Why? I hardly eat any pizza at all and if I come across it in the next 30 days I don't want to have to refuse it because of a challenge. Also I believe almost everything can be incorporated - within moderation. There is not so much wrong with pizza in itself, some (not-so-fatty) dough, loads of vegetables. The trouble starts with fatty meats and dousing it in cheese. But a homemade pizza can be quite healthy.
Darn! I could totally do this challenge, but then again, I don't eat pizza. It's a trigger (along with Chinese food) for me so I stay farrrrrrrr away. I have bad pizza twice a year for my God children’s parties and that generally brainwashes me into thinking all pizza is bad for a while
Oh, I'm with you! Pizza I've realized is totally my weakness, I can not even think about pizza without eating it! I've done good as far as then I do it, I usually one have 1 piece, but sometimes I go overboard with two. I'm def down for this challenge!
oh im def with you on this, we must have pizza here at least once a week, at least and i have the same problem as you, i tell myself just one slice and next thing you know im reaching for my fourth, im with you!
No way! I love pizza and it's ok in moderation w/o the fatty meats! I would do this with take-out Chinese food though. I love it but it's not so good!!!!
Im usually full after 1-2 slices .. im sooo glad im not into pizza as much .. Unless its NY pizza ... mmmm
ahhh i hear that!!! where you from. i grew up on good pizza. lived in north jersey and new york. pizza is our religion.
but yeah, i never eat it. last night i ate pizza was in april 2008, with my dad, while waiting to get my car inspected. hah we went to frank's, a local joint. and i had 3 slices. i remember it well.
Oh man, this board is making me crave pizza. I only eat it about once a month now, and only two slices at a time. (Homemade low-fat calzones on the other hand, mmmmm.) But my real weakness is Indian food, which I eat once a week or once every two weeks to huge excess. I'll join you in giving up a trigger for a month -- with the holidays coming up, mattar paneer is the last thing I need on my thighs!
