Hi everyone. I am new to the site. I am Stacey, 35 years old, married with two children, a full time job and going to school part time. I had lost a lot of weight when I was right out of high school, doing Weight Watchers. Slowly the weight creeped back on and by the time I was pregnant with my 1st child in 1999, I was up to 170 and put on 38 pounds with her. I went back to Weight Watchers after she was born and was able to lose the weight and then some. I was feeling great. Then I got divorced and the weight piled on. I don't know how I let it happen but it did. I have tried several times going back to Weight Watchers. We are lucky enough to have a center in my town. I have tried counting calories. I just can't stay motivated. I put on 38 pounds again with baby #2 in 2007 and have lost that but I can't seem to budge or lose any weight at all. I know WHAT to do, it is just doing it that is so hard for me.
Nice to meet you all.
As you and Gonnabe said, the doing is the hard part. Most of us know how to lose weight. It's simple, right? Calories consumed, calories burned. If just thinking about losing weight burned calories, we'd all be twigs.
