Default Weekend Challenge 11/15-11/16

I don't know about ya'll but I need extra support on the weekends. I don't know what it is, but I always feel like it's ok to cheat. Well, I can't afford to. My goal is to be 20 pounds down on Nov. 20th which is the day of my yearly physical. I don't mean I have to lose 20 lbs this week - the last time my dr saw me I was at my heaviest & I want her to see the progress I have made in just a few months. So, that is Thursday which means I CANNOT cheat until the day after that! =)

Anyone interested? The 5-Day Challenge we did this week so helpful. I found myself being better about eating because I wanted to brag about it on here. Being held accountable has really helped me.

So, I'm ready if you are!

Saturday: 1465 calories, 96oz of water, 2.5 mile walk, got into size 14 jeans!
Sunday: 1600 calories, 136oz of water, Pilates

Okay! I'm in on this.

Only, my saturday has kind of passed already so I'll just report about what I did today.

No really active exercise, however I did my christmas present shopping which was 3 hours of walking and standing. And I'll walk another 30 minutes tonight. Food wise: only 2 slices of bread (I usually eat 5 or 6) but my dinner was kind of calorie rich: 2 wraps with steamed fennel bulb, mushrooms and eggplant, with eggplant-garlic spread and (here comes the calorie-rich part) 100 gr of chicken cordon bleu (chicken fillet, folded with ham and cheese inside, covered in breadcrumbs and fried in butter). I had made way too much food so I have frozen the rest of the chicken, a lot of the eggplant-garlic stuff and also a lot of the stirfry. I don't dare counting I hope I haven't gone over too much. I was in a kind of bad mood, and hungry when I hit the supermarket, and then I make the wrong choices. I also bought iced tea but it was low-cal (only 200 for the entire bottle and I only drank half of it) so that is a treat I can afford every once in a while.

Up to a better tomorrow?

Good job, girls!!

Elwing, one bad meal won't be your downfall. Just do what you can tomorrow! And then the biggest loser challenge starts so you can use that to get back on!

JahJah, you can do it!! I had breakfast so I'm good so far. It's the middle of the day hunger that always gets me!

Good luck!! We can do it!

I had 2 peices of dry toast and an egg for breakfast. I'm trying to stay super low cal because I have to work a catered event at work tonight and my boss always makes me sample all the food beforehand, and then we eat after they do while we're waiting for them to leave. Our gym is open 4 hours on saturdays only until 2 and its completely inconvienent for me. I just wanna be like I'll lock up when I leave just let me work out!!

Disgruntled: Proud of you for not going overboard. It is really hard when I eat something I REALLY WANT because I want to eat until I throw up. So, good job! I've had a fried egg sandwich & dr pepper (my only vice I won't give up) & then a 6" inch veggie delite from subway. So, I'm doing good.

Keep up the great work, girls! I know the weekends are the hardest, but we can do it.

I already posted a new thread, but I thought I would do it here too. The 5-Day Challenge paid off & I got into a smaller size pair of jeans tonight!!! And it's my TOM! I'm so happy!!! You all can do it. Hard work & determination will get you to your goal!

I love changing pants sizes!! Awesome work Chance0421 The week challenge helped me too. I lost 2 lbs this week!*Its my TOM too, and i usually gain 5.
Weekends are tough for me because i'm at home alone. My husband is working late, and the kids go to bed early . Its hard not to eat out of boredom.
So far today i've been good. 1450 cals and if i get some munchies later i'll make some popcorn. I'm not working out today, but that was the plan. Hopefully tomorrow will be another good day. have a good weekend everyone.

Tomorrow is monday here, i think i am the furthest ahead here (unless there are some other secret kiwis hinding around here somewhere) and it really helped me keep going last week

How is everyone doing today? So far so good here. I had my normal fried egg sandwich for breakfast, I've had some water, but at least I started early today. I drank all 96 oz of water starting at about 530pm last night, so I was floating! Keep up the good work. Keep reporting on how you are doing!

Doing good here. I wasn't up for breakfast today , which is rare for me, so i skipped it. I just had lunch which wasn't the healthiest- i had a lunchable deli style, and some sushi - i was at the grocery and i was wanting something quick that i didn't have to prepare at all. Now i'm finally getting around to drinking my coffee.
Dinners plan is fajitas which are always good and healthy. I'm working out during my daughters nap which will be in an hour.
This weekend has been great!
