Default Starting Over...again

Good Morning Everyone,

My name is Kate and I am very ready to start this new way of eating. I did Sugar Busters in 2001 and I loved it...I lost weight, I felt great and most importantly I was healthy. I am a diabetic with an A1C of 11 so it is time to get serious. I have been telling myself that I will start after the holidays...but today is the day!!!! I look forward to chatting with you all and getting and giving support.

Kate

Hi KATE . . . . . . I already said hello over in the Sugar Shakers Forum and I'd like to invite you to come over and post in our Diabetes Support Forum as well. Take it from a long-time Type II, it can really help to discuss things with others who really understand some of the additional challenges you are facing.

Here's a link . . . http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=203

Kate! I have been doing Sugar Busters since the beginning of the year. I have to say it has become, and will continue to be, my way of life forever. I love all the foods you can eat. I am not diabetic, so I even ate bananas, raisins and pineapple all during my weight loss. It has really helped me with my sugar addiction. I can honestly say now that I do not have that intense desire for sugary foods. Do I have the occasional sweet treat? Yes, but now I feel satisfied with just a little and I have the ability to stop without feeling like I blew it for the whole day and turn it into a huge binge.

Good luck to you, and if you ever need any encouragement, I'm here for you!

Welcome I started my journey at the end of September as I too did not want to wait until after the holidays.
