Default What happened???

I knew I really needed to diet...Getting up in the mornings had gotten harder and harder. My back hurt, my side hurt, my feet hurt, etc...
Today was start of day 3 in P1. I got up, went potty, started to get dressed, and noticed, "Hey, my back doesn't hurt this morning, and neither does my side!" I haven't lost much so far, but I already feel better! Is that because I'm not eating so much white flour and sugar? Boy! To me, that is motivation!!!
BTW, I even put the triplets into the stroller this morning and went for a 40 minutes walk in the neighborhood. Pushing over 80 pounds of kids plus the stroller made me work up a good sweat. I'm planning on doing this as many times a week as possible, weather permitting. I couldn't do this four days ago!
Thanks for listening.

You're lucky 'cuz on my day 3 of P1...I was miserable.

I'm glad you're feeling better. I don't like to be in pain and I don't like to see others in pain either. Keep up the good work!

Some health practioners say a diet with white flour, sugar and lots of the "bad fats" can lead to inflammation in the body, causing disease and pain. It makes sense that a healthy diet may decrease some of these problems. I have had a lot fewer aches & pains (arthritis & plantar fasciitis) since eating healthier and losing weight. So glad you're feeling great!

Trip, my guess is your body was rejecting the food you were eating, causing pains! Now, with eating more veggies and healthy foods, your body is saying, "hey! I can digest this much easier! " hence, giving you the energy you need, especially with TRIPLETS?!!!!

What Anne said I had a similar experience - back pain, joint aches, morning stiffness. I couldn't walk up a few stairs much less exercise. I have discovered that if I over-eat wheat I'm right back to the ibuprofen. I have no more than 2 servings of wheat a week, choosing other grains instead. You may find that there is something(s) that has that effect on you when you start adding back in, or it could just be the processed stuff that's been causing your problem. Either way it's the best motivation to stick to the plan. Moving without pain and feeling 10 years younger has been the best result for me. Congratulations!!

Trip Mom! Yup, not eating sugar makes a HUGE difference, and I notice it most in the morning, when I have so much more energy!

Glad to have you with us and so glad it's going well!
