Red face Ready to lose!

Hi all! I'm new to the site and I'm thrilled to find a group of people who support each other in losing weight.

I'm the mom of 4 beautiful girls (12,10,9 & 2) and the wife of a great man who unfortunately has to travel for work almost constantly. So needless to say, I crave adult interaction and support. Some of it is due to the fact that I'm a home-body and some of it is because I don't want to 'bother' my friends or family with my 'problems'.

So I'm here now and looking forward to making some progress in this difficult endevor of losing weight. Today is the start of day 4 on the South Beach Diet and already I've lost about 3 lbs. I've also been using Trimspa to help curb my appetite. I was at a somewhat steady weight of 150lbs for the last month or so but with my niece's birthday on 10/25, Halloween, and my daughter's birthday on 11/4, I put on an extra 4 lbs.

According to all the 'charts' I should weigh about 125. In high school I weighed 135 so I'd be happy to get near there and be in shape. Being in shape is more important to me than the number on the scale.

Well, sorry for the long post but I thought i'd tell you all about me and hope to find others in a similar situation so we can support each other through this.

Good luck everyone!!!
