Default Hit my 10 lb goal but am cautious......

I came down with a bad cold and have not been eating well for the last 4 days. So when I weighed in on Sunday I had hit my 10 lbs goal really almost 11 lbs but I just counting the 10.... but I'm nervous because I probably lost the lbs because of not eating and now that I'm getting better I'm afraid that even if I stick to my calories that I will still gain

What do you ladies think

If you continue to eat a calorie deficit, you cannot regain...physical impossibility. However, if part of the weight loss was related to mild dehydration related to your illness then when you rehydrate, it might appear that you have regained some weight -- but the original loss will just have been water anyway. The bigger problem is whether, because you couldn't eat much for a few days, now that you are feeling better, your body is going to feel REALLY hungry for a few days. That is what happens to me when I've been sick, and I find it hard to stay on plan for a week or so.

That happened to me a couple of times. I literally lost 2 lbs overnight when I was really sick. Over the course of my week long illness, I lost 5 lbs. But it stayed off. I think my body was actually burning that many calories trying to fight the infection. It uses energy & stored calories to fight an infection after all. If you are eating less because you are sick, you are actually creating a rather large calorie deficit by the combination of both. Good luck, but don't be discouraged if you get a lb or 2 back, after all, what she said about dehydration is very likely. Once you hydrate again, you might see a lb gain or so.
