Default Feeling seriously crappy

Ugh. So last week I weighed in on Friday morning as usual, when I got on my scale I was shocked. It said that I had gone down 3.6 lbs just that week. To make sure I stepped on three times in a row, it still was down 3.6 lbs. So I wrote that down. Now I get on this scale this morning and I'm up 2.2 lbs from last weeks weight? Ugh. I did NOT eat bad this week, so the scale must have been screwing up. I wish I could have just had two normal weeks, so then I'd have made my month goal. But no, I didn't. Ugh.

And I was looking forward to having a little Halloween candy today, but because of this I'll probably feel to negative and gross to want any..

It's probably just your water weight moving around. I was so excited to see under 158 early this week and have been dissappointed ever since. Back up to 160.3 this morning.... Hopefully it will be gone by the end of this weekend!

Ahhh, it's hard. Hard to see the numbers bounce up and down like that sometimes. I know it's easier said than done, but I hope you try not to let the numbers totally ruin your day.
Even if you did go down 3.6, then back up 2.2, you at least are still down a lb and a half! Sure, it's not ideal in having made your goals on time, but it's a good indication that you're doing something right. I went from 160 to 156.8, then bounced back up to 158.9 during the next week. Sh!t happens, as disappointing and frustrating as it can be. Keep on your wagon, and the numbers will drop again. !

Son't blame the scale, it is normal for weight to fluctuate. You still showed a loss.

I don't know what it is, but I always get "stuck" on those transitions from, say, 170 to 169 for WEEKS! it kills me. Its like my body is effin with my head for sh!ts and giggles. I was between 172 and 169 for what seemed like forever and I was so frusterated. Then I got a cold and took off four lbs quicky style. I'm not saying run out and get a cold, but sometimes you have to kick it up a notch. Maybe you are retaining water, try drinking extra water today to flush it out.

Thanks everyone. I always know I shouldn't let these things get to me but it's hard. And hearing a reminder from all of you always helps

I agree with "ghost" - weight fluctuates, and when we get in those funks we gotta kick it up a notch. Good luck!! I am stuck in a funk too. I've been bouncing between 170 and 174 for, oh I don't know, 8 months now. Time to get serious, right?!
