Default Binge??? When does the weight come back down?

Okay had major binge on Sat but have been OP ever since...I was 145.8 before binge...now I'm 147.2. It's been 4 days, when does it come back down to 145.8? Plus I've been excerising....auuuugggghhhh...

I've learned someting though...no food is worth where I'm at right now. If I'd stayed on plan I'd probably be like 144 right now....now I've taken 2 steps in the wrong direction just because I wanted to eat chips and banana cake, it was so not worth it. I'm tired of this cycle of binging and being afarid of what the scale will say. I'm so angry at myself.....well atleast I'm going to keep pushing on....trusting I'll make my goal.....Instead of hiding the scale after my binge I weighted in every morning as usual to teach myself a lesson....slowly it went from 150.2 to 147.2 now I'm waiting to get below where I started......

if i binge on a friday....
i notice the weight loss beginning on the Tuesday afterwards....
i dont deliberately try to binge anymore tho....

I so have been where you are...and I ALWAYS do it to myself. I was very excited yesterday morning with the scale and for some reason...couldn't resist myself, went CRAZY yesterday with food. Arby's opened in town....yeah...feel like CRAP today. Didn't even get on the scale cuze I knew I would be very unhappy....At the time, you could NOT have talked me out of what I was eating...now, I'm kicking myself.

I do this alot. I'm a binge eater also. Right now I seem to be on a constant binge though.

Hopefully in a week you'll be back down. Some of it was probably water weight from increased sodium intake.

That happened to me a few times when I had out of control weekends - typically if I ate the crazy food on Saturday I would see the weight until late Wed, it would slowly go back down Thursday & Fri, by Saturday I was back to where I started. I know mine was mostly water from the influx of badness on the weekend, and I hold on the water from binging like my bladder knew I was about to move into the desert or something!

It will settle out, but depending on what you ate it could take another day or so.

It'll be okay sweetie. Just remember this next time you feel yourself reaching for too much of the bad stuff!

Count on 1 week to get back to where you started.

It's a drag, isn't it?

If you want, you can repeat this cycle every single week and never lose any weight.

You have to come up with a plan you can stick to, and then stick with it. If you can't do it on your own, consider a program like Weight Watchers in real life where you go to meetings every week and get some feedback, motivation, and a plan to follow.

1 week? That is very sobering.....I'm going to think twice next them I feel the urge to binge eat. Better, I'm going to create a backup plan for when I feel hungry...I'd rather eat 300 calories above my plan then 3000. Thanks for the support guys.
