It's a low-fat, low-calorie liquid diet. It's very restrictive, and doesn't teach lifestyle habits because you're just drinking the shake instead of learning to eat real food. And undertaking it without medical supervision would be risky, since it is classified as a Very Low Calorie Diet (vLCD), and those have many associated risks that warrant being monitored by a physician.
Any time you eat so few calories on a plan that the company has to caution AGAINST exercise, I'd give the plan a pass.
