Hello!
Thanks for the warm welcome!!
A little about me...
Yep, that's my python in my av.

Yep, I'm a saskatchewanian (you got it Jelbb!) I'm a single mom/full time nurse. My daughter is 5 and she is SO cool. She started school this year, so it's been a whirlwind fall! I nurse on a Cardiac unit at the major hospital here. I love my job, it's more of a passion in life rather than a career. That said, everything I do in my life, is done with intensity and passion.

That can be good or bad, mind you.
My journey...
I started off, 9 months post partum (4 years ago! Lord hold me.) at 180lbs. I got sick of being overweight and depressed. I strapped on my running shoes one day and started running. I got one block.

In the span of 6 months, I worked up to 10 miles, and I had lost about 40lbs. I maintained that for 2 years, then I went to nursing school and stress got the best (and worst) or me, and I lost another 20lbs. I was 118lbs in nursing school, and I looked emaciated. I lived off cigarettes, coffee and zantac. Graduated with Honors, moved back to Sask (school was in Manitoba) and put on 15lbs. So here I sit at 135lbs, and I'm just wanting to lose the last 10. Its SO stubborn, but I workout hardcore (I train my boyfriend who is a member of the RCMP) but my eating sucks because I love ****ty, rich, salty food and lots of it.
So, my plan is simple, eating clean, push myself in my workouts (no problems there, I love love love fitness. It saved my life.) and try not to obsess over numbers. (Ha!!!)
So, enough of my autobiography! I look forward to chatting with all of ya's!
