Congratulations!!! Way to go! I am interested in this answer too. Do you have to keep exercising at the same intensity and following the same eating plan forever?
Way to go on reaching your goal, you are an inspiration!

At the maintainance board? I have no idea actually... when I'm that far I think I'm going to the dietist another time to have a chat about it.

I heard once that you need to work out for 1/2 hour a day, three times a week to maintain....and 4-5 days a week to lose...

also I think you just eat the around the same number or calories, or whatever it is that you are doing

I know that you have to maintain your caloric intake to about the same and work out a little less and at less intensity. I feel like I'm so far away from maintenance.

I don't think you need to loose 7 more pounds.

The advice I got was to maintain current exercise levels and to add 100-200 calories per day for a couple of weeks to see what happened, if I continued to lose then to add another 100 for a week or two, etc. There are also some good threads on exercise - I'm trying to find them to link. There is some research that says to maintain you need to exercise 60 minutes most days.

http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...se+maintenance

This one is where I asked about exercise, it has some answers to my question and some links to other threads in it.

That was what I got out of it, too. I've scaled my exercise down a little recently and increased calories, but as I ramped my exercise up dramatically in the first four weeks of maintenance I actually came back down to about what I was doing during the loss period.

Good luck!

Yep. I've actually been pretty worried about Christmas, but I just made it through a weeks vacation with my family, so I'm feeling a little better.
