Congratulations!!! Way to go! I am interested in this answer too. Do you have to keep exercising at the same intensity and following the same eating plan forever?
Way to go on reaching your goal, you are an inspiration!
Im getting there now....
i think in 7lbs time i will be ready to maintain....
so im guna try and figure out sooner or later what i gotta be doing....
i figure its gradually introducing more food into my diet....
and gradually reducing the exercise....
I know that you have to maintain your caloric intake to about the same and work out a little less and at less intensity. I feel like I'm so far away from maintenance.
The advice I got was to maintain current exercise levels and to add 100-200 calories per day for a couple of weeks to see what happened, if I continued to lose then to add another 100 for a week or two, etc. There are also some good threads on exercise - I'm trying to find them to link. There is some research that says to maintain you need to exercise 60 minutes most days.
That was what I got out of it, too. I've scaled my exercise down a little recently and increased calories, but as I ramped my exercise up dramatically in the first four weeks of maintenance I actually came back down to about what I was doing during the loss period.
mum showed me the stash of sweets & chocs shes bought like every year....
theres is a cupboard full....
its going to be a nite mare....
i have next week off, well a few days of it so thats guna be testing enuf!....
you probably just have to fiddle around with calories and exercise until you get it stable, its probable that everyones different. How helpful am i today
