Default Coffee Drinkers....What do you put in yours?

I love my creamer, but it is a calorie taker! I drink about 3-4 cups a day and once I add my creamer that is roughly 300 calories, taking away from what I can eat throughout my day. So, I turn to you folks. What do you like to add to your coffee? Are there any other options, besides drinking it black, to make it taste smoother?

Thanks!!

Skim Milk, if you can tolerate it.
Personally, I can't. I drink 1 coffee a day from Tim Hortons, 2 creams 1 sweetener.
I will never give that up..
I hate milk in coffee.

Black. I sometimes, once in a while, put 1/2 and 1/2 in my coffee. But mostly I just drink it black.

I used to - Coffeemate French Vanilla creamer and Splenda

I tried the following variations for a while with splenda being the constant:
-- Coffeemate Fat Free French Vanilla creamer
-- Coffeemate Sugar Free French Vanilla creamer
-- Whole milk
-- Skim Milk
-- 1% milk

Finally, this is what I add now - 1% milk, Sugar Free French Vanilla Syrup (Torani) & splenda.

All these changes I made to reduce the calories from my coffee. I usually like my coffee sweet hence these many tries to find the best medium. Oh the coffee I brew at home is Folgers French Vanilla.

Hope this helps

I use a non-dairy creamer from a local dairy which is available to purchase at our health food store. It's called Coffee Perfection.....so cheap and only 15 calories per tablespoon! Love this stuff. You may want check your local health food store for other options, you may just luck out like I did.

Black, unless it's really bad coffee, then I'll add skim milk or non dairy creamer, or I just don't drink it.

I drink tea, not coffee, but wanted to add that I LOVE the the sugar free Torani syrups. I get them at Smart & Final so they're less than $5 a piece. Right now I have chocolate, coconut, lemon, and french vanilla. With some of that I don't need any additional sweetener or creamer.

I totally agree with the sugar free syrups, they are amazing! I usually drink my coffee with 2 splendas though, I'm not a fan of straight black coffee but the splenda is enough to sweeten it up and make it smooth for me. I've also tried some honey which works out nicely but I'm not sure of the calorie content of honey, I've never looked it up.

International Delight Southern Butter Pecan or Vanilla Caramel.......

Really, I did try the lower fat and lower sugar versions. When I was on Atkins, it was heavy cream with sugar free syrup. I only drink 2 or 3 cups of coffee per day, so I have cut down a lot. Hold on, when I got up to look at the creamer labl to tell you what it was, I put a coffee in the microwave to heat up, and I gots ta go get it.

MMMmmmmm. Okay, one thing that works okay for me, is plain 2% chocolate milk. Sweet, creamy. Very nice.

Plain old half & half. I grew up with milk fresh from a cow on a dairy every day if I wanted it. Full cream is the only way I can take my iced coffee. I get a venti coffee, 24 ounces, with just a little cream.

I drink my coffee black, always have. Of, course I drink really good coffee.

On those occasions where I find myself somewhere with sub par coffee I'll usually order a latte with soy milk and no sweetener. The Pacific brand of soy milk is nice and creamy.

1-2 Splendas and a Tablespoon of milk

If it's good coffee you shouldn't need too much to doctor it up!
