Question Which One???

if anyone eats Cheerios, what do you think of their New Multi Grain Cheerios? i bought these yesterday and didnt see that little Lightly Sweetened on the box... i LOVE those Original Cheerios and i eat them every morning for breakfast so i thought i would try the new ones... What Do YOU Think Of Them? and which do you think is better Cheerios or Whole Grain Total??? i have heard all the hype about Total and how it claims to have all your daily vitamins in there, but do you really think its true? i really am a die hard Cheerio Fan but i would be willing to try Total IF they ARE Better For Me! Any Advice? ANYONE???

how many pounds are in a year? i searched google and couldnt find anything

on a more serious note...there is a separate section for your age under the user profile

why would you think total does not have the vitamins and minerals it says it does? the fda is pretty strict about what you can put on the nutrition info and i dont think they can fib on there. id take total over cheerios any day, just my opinion though

You not only have to pay attention to how many calories are in a serving, but sugar. "Lightly sweetened" may be okay, just check the ingredients.

OK, I just pulled up a nutrition facts for the cereal online... if this is correct, a serving has 6g of sugar in it. Compare this to just 1g in regular Cheerios. I think you have your answer.

I actually prefer the Cheerios over Total.

The thing is, is that I already take a multivitamin, and eat mostly nutritious foods, so I don't need a cereal that has a multivitamin coating on it.

Oh...and 6 grams of sugars per serving is NOT bad....especially compared to many others. That is actually on the low end.

If it were me and I could eat them again, I would stick with the ordinary cheerios. I used to love them before I found out I had celiac disease.

We usually only buy the original Cheerios which my three year old calls the "regular cereal" and anything else I pick up gets a "no, not that one."

I did try the multi-grain once, but I thought it was too sweet. I like my cereals unsweetened. I haven't had Total since I was a kid and my dad bought it. I was not thrilled with the texture. I usually cycle between oatmeal, Cheerios and Special K.
