Thumbs up Finally a good day!

Alright, so I've finally had the break through day. No more saying I'm going to get up early to work out and not getting up even on time...today (with the help of multiple strategically placed alarms...really I've now found the true reason for my blackberry and cell phone!) I was up at 5:00am, out of bed at 5:15, at the gym by 5:30. I had a nice 45 minute work out, made it home with plenty of time to make a healthy breakfast, have some coffee shower and get ready for work with no rush. I was on an earlier train and walked to the office instead of taking the T two stops (yes I am usually that lazy).

It was not an easy morning, it was dark when I got up, still dark when I got home from the gym and it was cold and getting out of the house was like pulling teeth. I was expecting a crash to happen around 11am...but to my surprise and pleasure I feel pretty good, I've got more energy than I usually do this time of day and I've lifted the burden that comes with going to the gym at night which I ultimately know I'll find a reason to get out of...I've gone and worked out and it's just out of my head for the rest of the day.

My food has been right on plan too, we are having our office 'monthly birthday party' and fruit is actually going to be on the menu! An option for people trying to be healthy! FINALLY!!

Anway, it's been such a good day I just wanted to share. Now tomorrow I've just got to do it again! Wash Rinse Repeat!

Congrats! That's a huge step! I always go to bed thinking I'm going to get up earlier and I get myself all excited...then in my sleep stuper I always hit snooze. So, I commend your efforts! YOU DID IT TODAY!

Good luck tomorrow. I have confidence in you!!!

Way to go! I'm in the same boat. NOT a morning person but I decided to start working out before I go to work. I'm on my 8th day now, I started last week, and I really enjoy it. I love being able to take time in the morning getting ready after I get home from the gym. I have energy every day and I've been finding myself sitting at my desk dreading the thought of going to work out after work...then I realize that I already did!!! The mornings haven't gotten any easier than the first day, but I'm sure it will with time. I set about 6 alarms to get me out of bed! Keep it up!

I am no good at going to exercise after work. I am going to have to make myself go exercise in the a.m. You all are inspiring me!

Sometimes sleeping in makes you feel more tired all day . And there's just something invigorating about getting up before dawn.

Alright, day 2 of early morning gym...and I got up and did it again! I was a little slower to get going today...and I almost didn't make it out of bed but I did and here I am! Been to the gym, healthy breakfast, shower etc and plenty of time to get to work and be early.
Also, today is the first time I've weighed in since Monday Sept. 29th and this morning I decided I'd hop on and hope for the best...and I'm down 5lbs. That is just adding so much more motivation to the pot!
Alright time to get off to work, have a great day!

Ugh today I didn't make it up. I didn't sleep late though, I actually got up pretty much on normal time which I wasn't even doing before. I'm still going to keep up my walking to and from the train and the office and will go to the gym after work. It'll be ok as long as I don't slack and just not go. I'm going to leave the office a bit early today anyway so I won't mind going tonight.

To be continued...

So how is your plan going yogagal?

I finally got up to exercise today at 4:30am.....it did help that my BF called from Afghanistan at 2:45am and I couldn't fall back asleep!

I did a brisk walk through the neighborhood.....even did the hills!.....and it took 45 minutes.

It's a little creepy at that time of the morning, but I did see a bunch of deer, a possum, and possibly a werewolf.....though that could've been a holdover from the scary movie I watched last night!

I've been a bit slow for the past week. My dad is sick and we had some surgery to go to. I'm back on the horse today though, just put all my food into fit day. I didn't get up early this morning...because I was up late watching baseball but I've got my gear and I'm going to a yoga class tonight which is what my body is just begging for. I'm gonna aim for early to bed tonight and up early for the gym tomorrow... trying to get back into the swing after a long difficult week!
