Default Stablization?????

Hey everyone,

I know that I have been away for a while and I hope this finds everyone still loosing. I have been able to maintain my weight because I have not been sticking to plan. I have tried several times and I just mess up.

I have a question regarding stablization. My weight loss weeks run out this week and I am scheduled for 6 weeks stabilization and 8 weeks maintenance. I just sick thinking of how I have screwed up myself. I was supposed to have been at goal this week and instead I am about 40lbs from it. I can't afford to buy more weight loss weeks right now. We are still trying to recover from 10 weeks with no income. However, I really do want to know how to do the stablization and maintenance. I am on a plan right now that is more aggressive than Pure. So, I would still be loosing weight (at least that is the plan). So, I guess my question is will they just give me the information on Stablization and maintenance? If anyone knows I would apprecitate some help with this. I am on a timeline to loose some more weight and stablize at it before I try to get pregnant. Any help is appreciated.

Have a great day.

Dionne:

I would definately ask them for the information, if you don't get it now, you risk not getting it from the center due to closings.

The information for stabilization is listed in this forum. I know, cause I have posted it there. If you still cannot find it, let me know and I will see if I can dig it out.

Dionne, are you sure that they will not continue with you? In the contract it says that if you have followed the plan and continued to go to the center that they will continue with you until you reach goal. I was recently given the talk about running out of weight loss weeks and I told her that in the contract it states that if I abide by the program that they will continue until I reach goal. At my next visit they did say that they would continue with me at no charge. So you may want to check that out... Good luck! You CAN do this!

Just this week I went back to the express plan (at the urging of a counselor) to try to speed things up. I had become a little lax and realized that in the beginning I was losing so fast and steadily because I did not deviate AT ALL from the plan. I did have some deviations recently, but was still maintaining, so now I realize that I need to just get serious again for a specific time to push things and then I can go into maintenance. I think mentally I went into maintenance on my own...

You need to hang out with us more!!! We've missed you!

just to clarify also - I am not in a contract that states I will receive money back at the end of my program, it is just the regular agreement...

They let me continue with weight loss weeks even though I took 3 months longer than the original estimate. I never paid any extra except for more lites, which was my choice.

I have also heard them offer weeks to people at extremely low rates to keep them around too. Something like 3-4$ a week, so you might ask what additional weeks might cost, since it may be a lot less than you are thinking.

Depending on your time frame and how helpful you find going to the COD at this point, it might be worth it. They may just let you use the stabilization weeks and maintenance weeks as weight loss weeks and give you the info at the end. I actually found them to be very nice and helpful at my COD when it came to those things, but all COD's are different.

Thanks for this information Barbara and Julie! I am also doing the plan w/o lites, so I wasn't sure how getting more weeks will work.

When I joined LAWL, I was very skeptical so I told them my goal as 185 - coz that would put me at the end of this year (last week of December) so I did not have to buy one year plan and now after being on the plan I am very happy to say that its working for me. So, I will be changing my goal and buying more weeks after my goal is reached. I do have 6 weeks of stabilization, so hopefully they will let me buy more weight loss weeks and then use these stabilization weeks when I reach my goal. Hopefully

So, thank you for the info!

Ana
