Default Good or Bad

Okay I am not really good at deciding what is healthy meals. Tonight I made

Chicken Breast (only had 1 small breast no breading baked, Seasoned)
1 Fresh Corn on the cob with Light butter
1 cup of whole grain brown rice.

So did I do good. I think I chose healthy foods and I only had 1 plate.

I'd say that was good. The only thing I might quibble about ... is that corn is a starchy veggie, so having corn and rice at the same meal makes it a little carb-heavy. You should throw in some green veggies or some mixed veggies. Always try to make your plate as colorful as you can!

I agree that rice and corn at the same meal is carb heavy....

also an entire chicken breast could be 9 oz of protein. not sure how much protein you want but I try to have 3-4 oz (3 oz main meat/fish/chicken) and 1 oz of cheese on my salad.

Yeah I can see now where that is Kinda of Starchy maybe I will have to try broccoli instead and then corn on another night with like green beans just a light vegetable. I have been buying frozen bags of vegetables and they are so good. I love it they steam right in the bag, I will never go back to canned veggies. I love the frozen stuff it's so much better.

The frozen stuff *is* so much better. Yeah, the broccoli instead would have rounded things out nicely and then corn and beans with a different meal would be good.

You're getting the hang of it nicely!
