Hi. I've been here before but I think I may have posted once. I don't remember. I cant believe I remembered my log in name and my password! So... here I am, again. I think I was trying Atkin's last time. It's been so long I can't remember. I recently tried Atkin's again as I lost nearly 40lbs the first time. But this time it wasn't so easy to stick to. I lost 10 and decided to go for a more healthy lifestyle (I'm getting good - I didn't say diet ) After much consideration and input from DH (a super supporter), I'm going to go the South Beach route.

Personal stuff... I'm 44, married 12 years, have 2 boys 8 and 9, we live in North Carolina. Sometimes I'm posty, sometimes I'm quiet, but this time I'm not giving up. As for my screen name SkinnyondaInside, I AM skinny on the inside, it's the outside I'm having a problem with.

I look forward to meeting y'all ... Later tonight I'll be stumbling around the threads.

Hey Carla -

We have a great, active South Beach forum here - once you have read the book, head over and get advice from folks who REALLY know what works and what doesn't on the plan. It's a great group!

We also have a wonderful 100 lb club, for those who have 100 lbs or so to lose, or who are on their way to losing that amount...you should really check it out there, too...also, our 40-somethings area would be a good fit.

So there are PLENTY of spots to settle into...pick one or several and get to posting. Can't wait to get to know you better!
