Hi, I discovered 3FatChicks yesterday doing research on FullBar. It looks like a valuable resource, and I already posted a link to one of your success stories on VideoFitness, where Fit at Any Size is having a check-in.
I stay with my parents temporarily since an accident, and fend for myself food and finance-wise, but temptations surface when my mom bakes a coffee cake with walnuts and sour cream like she did 3 days ago. The last piece was eaten this morning by my Dad! The advantage of this location in a development of rentals is a community room with tv and gym equipment, including a treadmill, a walkable street outside, a half mile downhill to the intersection, and half mile back, and vicinity to Trader Joe's, Ralph's and Albertson's groceries, a farmer's market on Sundays, and Whole Foods. I have really no excuse, I just need the support!
Take care! Look forward to meeting and getting to know all of you!
Hi CountingDown - enjoy your collage of Before & After photos - good job! Keep it up! You're inspiration to the rest of us!
Hi fellow newcomer Cathy! You and I look like we have similar starting points and goals - maybe we could buddy up! Low carb is interesting - I bought Wendy Chant's Crack the Fat Loss Code and Dr. Gundry's Diet Evolution, and have lost weight on Fat Flush in the past, but limiting carbs and restricting will be a course of last resort.
What's your exercise? Mine is walking, Kettlenetics, occasional treadmill and light weights, and regular T-Tapp.
I don't expect to see a change on the scale immediately, because I am building muscle and rehabilitating inside, so it might take 2-3 months, and I am prepared to be patient!
Hi Everyone, and KitCat08, CountingDown, and Faerie, Today I ordered the vegetarian Nutrisystem Flex Plan (5 days on/2 days off), because of all the good buzz about Nutrisystem in the Delivery threads, so I'll probably see you all on the Nutrisystem Buddies 2008 discussion group!
Look at you - down 13 lbs - must feel great! Congratulations! Isn't it odd how you must be elated to be in the 180's, but when we were gaining, it was like, "Oh, no! I'm in the 180's!" Now, we're like, "Oh yeah - I'm in the 180's!"
