Default food planning accountability

okay, for me I know that it helps to plan out my meals but it helps A LOT MORE if I actually stick with my plans. I don't know how anyone else is with that, but I'm proposing a thread where we put our meal plans for the day and then edit to say what we actually ended up eating. I think maybe if I'm sharing with others I will be less tempted to bend the rules/change the plans I make for myself.

cher, I'm just listing what I plan to eat each day - it helps me to plan it out before it's actually time to eat. i'm not doing anything specific like weight watchers or whatever, but if you are there's no reason that can't work too. =)

so today I stayed OP until a "major crisis" this evening... my hummus DEFINITELY went bad -yick! I guess it was in the fridge for longer than I remembered. carrots were also in pretty bad condition, i have been trying to avoid the grocery store without a definitive plan of what I am going to get. instead of the hummus and carrots i had a glass of soy milk and a banana with dinner. I also had 2 peanut butter cookies tonight at a meeting.... they were homemade FROM SCRATCH!

on to tomorrow -
Thurs 9/18 food plan:

B: bowl of Kashi with soy milk, banana, coffee
L: carrot ginger soup, 2 wasa crackers with a laughing cow wedge
D: quorn "chicken" patty, pasta with broccoli

chaaaaaa! you know what? (ok really bad Mad TV imitation! LOL) I'm on WW but I think I'll start posting my eating plan here instead - I need the structure of WW along with the accountability & support of this thread. I have too many food issues to go it alone.

Here's my plan for Thursday:
B: banana, SF/FF yogurt
L: veg minestrone soup, 1 svg cheese
S#1: cucumbers
S#2: 1 homemade banana oatmeal choc.chip muffin
D: steak, carrots, lettuce salad w. FF italian dressing
Dess: 1 homemade apple turnover in phyllo pastry

+ 2 lite beers

+ 30 min walk

S: 2 wasa crackers w/ laughing cow wedge

- I'm with you on that one Iris. I haven't been binge'ing but I definitely have not been eating the 'right' foods.
- Yesterday, not a good diet ay either - hubby's off work & getting me off track (Yes, he IS twisting my rubber arm! LOL)
- Anyways, here's what I've had/am having today:

B: 1+1/2 scrambled eggs
L: Wendy's taco salad, cotton candy ice cream (small)
S: homemade spaghetti sauce w. italian sausage, 1 cup whole wheat pasta & 1 svg slice garlic bread
Dessert: 1 slice B'Day cake + 1/2 cup vanille ice cream

... are we going to be logging-in for the weekends too?! b/c I'm game if everyone else is

Great job ladies! I'm not on here often enough but I went back to planning my meals aheald of time this week after WI shocked me a bit. At least if you have a plan, if you need to stray a bit it makes you think whether what you are going to have is equivalently good for you. I think for people dealing with our issues, it can really help. Without a plan, I can spend a lot of time thinking about what I want, what i should eat, whether what i want is really what I want, etc. Sometiems it's too much! I have been planning before going to bed each night since tuesday and so far it's working! Keep it up!
