Default One Small Goal at a time

i've been trying to do small changings that add up like working on working out daily, drink 8-8oz glasses of water, staying within my points, keeping a food journal, eating 5 fruits and veggies daily, take multivitamin. Losing 10 lbs at a time not making 100 lbs seem so unrealistic. I'm trying to loose 10 lbs by Christmas time.

Just to stick to my own rules I sometimes have to make a goal for each day, like "Don't eat until so and so..." or something like that. I feel you for the 10lbs each thing... what helps me is to just think over and over "240...240...240" when I'm 250, so that when I DO hit 240 I feel a sense of achievement and pride, and then I get to think "230...230...230". But I think 10 pounds by xmas is DEFINITELY do-able ^^ Good luck!!

Small goals are the way to go! As you acheive a small goal here and a small goal there, the bigger goals don't seem so far off.

I like to focus on each day. I can do anything for a single day! I'll worry about the next day when it gets here!
