YOU: Daily Food Journal

  • Okay, here's a new thread for journaling food consumed each day.
  • Today got off to a bumpy start. I unexpectedly had to drive about a 100 miles before I went to work this morning. I was in a hurry and stopped on the road for food. I did redeem myself a bit as the day progressed. So not a great start at this, but a start.

    Breakfast: Giant Peanut butter cookie

    Snack: Fried peach pie

    Lunch: Salad w/ turkey

    Afternoon Snack: English muffin w/ almond butter

    Supper: Turkey meat loaf sandwich on low cal ww bread

    Snack: Clif Bar
  • I need to get into the food journaling again. I used to be so good at it...and it really helped. Then I stopped...and now I find myself journaling and doing really well...UNTIL I binge. Then i get all sad. Tear the sheet out and say I'm starting tomorrow. haha... It's not good, sorta funny...but so frustrating.
  • Hey- I know I posted my food intake yesterday. I am just wondering where? I thought it was here, but maybe I made a mistake and left it on a different thread.

    Anyway, this is helping. It's not like I am doing super super good. I can see where I might improve, too many Clif Bars, real food would be better. But I did find myself thinking, Do I really want to have to write this down? And it stopped me from the little indulgences that I think about, usually at night.

    So in that spirit here is day 3 even though day 2 is MIA.

    B - 1/2 cup each oatmeal, cottage cheese, blueberries

    S - Clif Bar

    L - salad w/ 1/2 cup roasted veggies and 3 oz. turkey brest

    S - Clif Bar

    D - 1/2 cup ww spaghetti, 1 c roasted vegetables (loving these) 1/2 cup cooked spinach, parmesan cheese

    S- Eng. muffin w/ almond butter and sf jelly
  • B - oatmeal, blueberries, cottage cheese

    S - chocolate chip scone (bad girl)

    L - Salad w/ grilled chicken

    S - power bar

    D - turkey meat loaf sandwich
  • This is great! Tonight i will post my food journal, i have been doing great with the walking 30 min! see you guys tonight. Hey how often are we suppose to eat!
