Red face Finally ready to lose the weight!

Hi all! I am another new member, from Ohio. I am 42 and since I was married 13 yrs ago, I have gained 45-50 pounds! I had 2 children and kept 10 lbs from each of them, and the rest just gradually added up. I have tried Weight Watchers before, and had success, but I never stick to anything. I am really tired of the way I look and the way my clothes fit (or more correctly, don't fit!) We are planning a trip to Disney in 9 weeks, and would like to lose some of this weight before then so I will look better in the pictures!! (and be more comfortable) Yesterday I resumed my exercise routine (walking), and today I resumed my diet (modified Weight Watchers). I was searching online for some good recipes/menu plans, and came across this webpage, so I joined. Why not? I could use all the support I can get. I wanted to say good luck to the rest of you, and ask you to wish me luck also!

Welcome to 3Fc.

There's a weight watchers specific forum here. But look around and feel free to read and post anywhere you feel connected.

Lose50!

I believe one of the keys to sticking with anything is admitting that this is no longer a temporary option. These changes have to be permanent. They have to be for the long-haul or our weight loss will only be temporary as well.

I'm following the Weight Watchers Flex Plan myself. There's a WW section under Diet Central that you may want to check out. Lots of recipes there, and friendly support, too!!! There's also the 40-something's group. Post wherever you're comfortable.

Best of success!
