Default Centre closing

The St. Catharines, ON centre is closing and merging with the Niagara Falls centre. The reasoning, I have been told, is that the St. Catharines centre is a lot slower, and they think that they can provide better service by merging.

?!

Well, not everyone can justify travelling 20 minutes to go for a 5 minute appointment. It makes things a lot more difficult. I also have to take a bus. So it'd actually take 30min-1hr to get there (depending on the city bus). Really? I don't think so. It was so convenient having it just down the street from me.

They did mention something about phone counselling. What about getting weighed and measured?

I'm pretty frustrated with this because I am a bit behind on my weight loss and am trying to keep on track. I'm not sure what to do.

I know that some people here have had their centres close. What is your experience in this situation?
