I photographed myself (you can see the damage on my 3fc blog is you're so inclined). I AM smaller than I used to be - shaved off about 12 inches all around. But I just look so darn FRUMPY. I wore an outfit that I love to wear. I always thought it made me look well put together...o jeez...How can I walk out of the house now?

I know the feeling I went and bought some new clothes recently, since I'm trying to dress nice for work. I thought they looked fantastic, and then I see a photo...

HOWEVER I think you look fantastic in your photos, and I love that shirt!

i am wearing a top today that feels like it's tight. my friends at work all say it fits just fine...

so hard to get used to wearing things that flatter us when we are used to wearing things that hide us.

You don't look frumpy. You look just fine. We certainly see ourselves differently than others.

Part of losing weight will be developing your own personal style. It can be hard (you never had to have one before!), so give yourself a break and time to adjust. Soon, you'll adjust to that image in the mirror, find the clothes you like it best in, and learn to dress yourself so you feel good. In the meantime...imagine how you might have looked in that photo 12 inches ago!

It's not anything to go hiding in the closet over. It's a cute shirt, you've lost quite a bit of weight and you look cute.

When was the last time you were fitted for a bra? It's amazing how much difference a well fitting bra will make-makes the girls more perky.

Stand tall be, proud of all the work you have done and go out into the world and show off!

LOL that you mentioned the bra.

I was just fitted a few months ago. My husband threw it in the washer, and the underwire came out. I'm flying underwireless until I can get back to the store later this week.

Thanks to all for the positive feedback and comments! =)

We are always so hard on ourselves. I like the outfit and think you look nice. Remember, real people aren't looking at you the way you study your photos. In real life you are moving, your personality sparkles, and people see the whole person, not just an outline - Thank goodness! Anyway, keep up the good work.

I think you look great...remember, we always look worst to ourselves than we do to other people!

You look adorable, definitely not frumpy! I love the shirt!

As everyone has said, we are SO ridiculously hard on ourselves!
