Hello all!
I am finally introducing myself and not just reading your posts. Although your post have been inspiring and interesting- I decided I wanted to be part of the action.
I am living in Arkansas and work in the healthcare field. I want to be healthly ( not just thin) and fit. Currently, I am neither. Both of my parents are overweight, as is my husband. We have been married for 3 years and I have gained about 30 pounds since we got married.
I went to my first trialathon ( key word here is went) last weekend. My good friends are exercise buffs and I wanted to go support them. It was awesome! I was so inspired! I was amazed at all the different types of people there. Not everyone was tiny and buff.
I work out at my gym and enjoy spin classes and yoga/pilates. I also just started the Couch Potato to 5K plan (i am on week 1). I used to run before I got married and would like to "be a runner again."
