Default Day-dreaming about a certan food?

I've craved a big tomato, balogne, mayo sandwich for 10 months. Well, I did it. Full-fat balogne, a thick slice of Italian tomato and canola-mayo. I don't do bread well, so let that thing set for about a half hour and went at it. It was as good as I imagined. I have half left for another meal. Absolutely worthless nutritional wise, but oh so good!!! I've been using the double protein bread around here, but still can't do bread very well. Hamburger and chicken are quote from KO "a bipolar friend" and bread is so darn iffy. Is there anything that you have been thinking about that you just had to try?

What I hate is when you can taste it in your mouth. for ex in NY Penn Station right by the elevator there is a Krispy Kreme and a Pizza Place. . .I've given in a few times however it never tastes as good as I think it will!

things just don't taste like they used to...strange though, a balogna sandwich sounds good in theory. I have tried things I used to love and now they are just...whatever. Sad but helps me not lean on food for that pleasurable sensation...must have Salsa Dancing!

Gosh, bologna would be the last thing I would crave. Actually, I've managed to get the cravings under control. I found that when I didn't give in, it went away in about 20 minutes. Mind hunger is a different thing. Glad you enjoyed your sandwich. There is nothing worse than having something and it doesn't taste good anymore.

Default waiting 20 minutes....

LOL!! Not only did I wait 20 minutes, I waited 10 months!!! LOL!!! Leenie your night-dream had me laughing for an hour. I very seldom dream, but once I dreamed I had to go to the bathroom and MC Hammer was in there and I tried to get out and a hyena grabbed the back of my nightgown and wouldn't let loose! I wonder what I ate that night before I went to bed? Guess I'd rather dream about peanut M&M than MC Hammer and hyenas. LOL! Ange, you are right about how food tastes different and isn't as spectacular as it used to be. Sometimes I work all day on something good for supper and can't wait to eat it and it just isn't good! My DH always says it takes alright to him, but seems blah, just not right. Phil: Do what KO says and knock off the bread. Go to your Uncle D's house and there are the fattest juiciest tomatoes just begging to be eaten. He even has some little tomatoes that are called Russian Blacks and are so sweet! UMMMM! Shoot! I'm going to have to go brush my teeth, so I won't be trying to eat a some tomatoes!!!! LOL!!!
