Newbie from Washington
Hi! I'm new here. In need of losing a whole lot 'o weight. I've been losing the same 10 pounds for 2 years and it's time I do something about that!
My weight got up to 330 in 2002 and I flipped out, realized I had to do something about it. I lost 90 pounds, then life happened. I met a wonderful man, got engaged, got married and weight loss was put on hold. I gained back some of the weight so now I'm currently at 271, in the last two years I've been bouncing back and forth between 270 and 280.
I've plugged in my Diet Power software and am using it again, hubby and I are joining the Y on Wednesday so we can go swimming (and I like the rowing machine) and on September 1st I'm starting belly dance classes. I'm hoping with the combination of these things I can stay on track and lose this weight.
One thing that has finally helped me I think is - I'm not going to be 100 pounds lighter tomorrow. If I only lose 1 pound a week, or even 1/2 pound a week I'm okay with that. Eventually I'll be at a better weight and that's what matters.
