Default This and That....

I had my first "stomach" flu episode yesterday. Still not real chipper today! I ate at Subway yesterday and wondering if it was that. I had dry heaves, such pouch pain, diarrhea, and the worst chills. Subway has a great deal on the foot long subs and my favorite is roasted chicken and it costs $5.00. I have all the veggies except hot peppers and bring my own dressing. The two GKs eat half and I eat half of a half of the veggies and chicken. Leaves me enough for later. I still can't eat the bread, no loss really, so it is a salad and protein. Just hope I didn't pick up food poisoning from them.

My youngest sister called me yesterday and informed me that her DH new insurance covered WLS. She said, "I need to get back to WW because I know I can do it. I lost 50 lbs in three months. And there is so much going on in my life right now and I don't think that I would be as dedicated as you about what you eat." I so want my sibs to be lighter and healthier, but if your aren't ready for WLS mentally, than don't do it.

I'm just about 10 months out and so I weighed myself this morning and I'm down to 167.5 in my skivies. Doctor goal 180, my personal goal 170. YIPPEE!

Did anyone ever do the "Physician's Weightloss Program"? I picked up a cookbook at a junk sale yesterday and it has some really interesting recipes, but call for some of their products and I would like to know what a package of Futra-lite Chicken or Beef soup is. The cottage cheese recipe was good: 8 oz. cottage cheese, 1 minced clove garlic, 1/4 tsp of basil, 1/4 tsp of dill and 1/4 tsp. caraway seed. Can't do the caraway seeds. Even DH liked it.

Make sure you keep up your protein if you want to keep your hair. I started noticing some hair loss again. I know I've been off protein for a couple of months because of my mom and some stress. I was scared to death yesterday because I clogged up the drain. I cleaned it out and realized that our big lab lays in the bath tub all the time because it is cooler in there and had done a good job of shedding in there. TG!

Well, need to see if I can get some tea down to stopped the dang chills. You all have a good day.

Hope you are feeling better today. There must be something going around. My little one and I both have a lower GI something and are both not feeling chipper today.

Thanks so much for the bolgs and the encouragement that I receive from reading them.
