Hello, My name is Rebekah, I have a long History of dieting! At age 18 I was 260lbs and wanted to change that, For a new years resolution I wanted to lose 100bs in that year. By december of that year I was 142lbs! Very proud. That was Almost for years ago I started. I worked out daily and you couldn't get me to eat something I knew I was not suppose to. Here four years later I have maintained weight Currently I weigh 145 But not nearly in as good of shape. I have not let myself eat so much( but worse than before) and diffantly not exceriseing in about a year! I need to get back on the wagon anf get to 135, in good shape and happy about myself. I work on motivation and my husband who is in the army and naturally in great shape isn't the best to help! So here I am looking for some motivation. And looking for friends that can help!
Rebekah
Congratulations on your amazing progress You'll find many people here getting back into shape and working to exercise more. Have a look around. Post wherever you're comfortable!
Hey Rebekah I love the way you spell your name. I have a friend in Seattle with the same spelling.
anyways you've done so great for yourself already -- way to go! 3fc is a great place for support. There's a featherweight's forum.. you could check out for people with similar instances as you -- or even the maintainer's forum.. you've maintained a great loss for quite awhile!
You may find you have a lot in common with those posting regularly in the "Living Maintenance" category...we have a great daily "No Excuses" thread that you might enjoy, since you've been at goal before and you are working toward getting back there.
You might also want to check out the Featherweights, for those with less weight to lose than others, or any of a multitude of groups based on eating plan.
Stick around! Can't wait to see more of you (or LESS of you, as the case may be) around!
Hi Rebekah!
I am in the same boat!!! I was 200 pounds 2 years ago and I lost 65 pounds but recently gained about 12 back! I am beating myself up about it just because O am so afraid of getting back to 200! But I started my exercise videos again back on weight watchers. Its just frustrating to have to lose weight again! So I completely know how you feel but please hang in there and I know you can do it! Just give yourself two full weeks of diet and exercise! and you will start feeling better inside and out! But don't beat yourself up if you fall off the wagon again. Have fun! Joanna
