Question FitDay or Daily Plate?

Hi everyone,

I've been using FitDay for about the last week and on Sunday they updated and changed everything. I can't get "moods" to work for me at all. And, though it's minor, every time I use an apostrophe, the site changes it to 5 or 6 different characters. So, it has lost a little of it's appeal.

I was reading an earlier thread and a few of you said you liked Daily Plate.

To those of you in the know, which site to you prefer? Is one site lacking anything? For instance, does Daily Plate track moods? Provide reports?

I've looked at each of the websites, but neither of them provide the real insights that you all will be able to provide because of your personal experiences.

Thanks for any input you might have!

Beth

WOW, I hadn't been to my Fitday account in a long time and big changes have taken place! So far I do like it, I've always liked it more than Daily Plate. Maybe with time it the glitches will go away...

I personally like the daily plate better. I think it has a bigger food database that fitday does.

Opps!

I should have searched before posting.

I just found the same question asked a couple of months ago. Here's the link!

Thanks for recommending the Daily Plate - I took a look and signed up. It's far superior to Fit Day in its database and ease of use.

i love thedailyplate.com it has a larger variety of foods, and are listed by brands, even has Schwans (which we order from occasionally) and I like that it has all the brands i use and actual label info instead of at fitday where i'd have to use generic info and try to calculate the servings to get the right amount of calories or to add everything i eat one by one. i love that dailyplate you can put in your recipes and save them (like my family's homemade mac and cheese) and it gives you a good idea on calories and fat and all teh nutrients in the recipe. And you can build meals (like i have PB Sandwiches since i eat them often) since i can just click on that to add and how many i ate that meal instead of always having to add the PB and bread separately....

Now after reading all these I think I'll try both and compare that way!!! There's just so much to choose from.
