I love him to pieces, but, tonight I'm sittin here typin away in bed, while he is out "gator" hunting with his lil bro (15) and my sister's husband... They decided that after thier game of laser tag (we went to Boomer's tonight) that gator hunting would be the perfect end to the evening.

Thank God he has a decent life insurance policy.

Someone tell me how the most metrosexual man on the planet decides he wants to go gator hunting? Maybe the stars aligned and DH had an unusual surge of testostorone?

My BIL has a 9mm and DH and his lil bro both have hunting knives they borrowed from BIL. They also took, and I'm not kidding about this either, a shower curtain rod - as a gator poker.

Thats the thing about my life, I dont make this stuff up... :sigh:

Its a lot of fun, especially for blokes, but just make sure they're completely sober before going.

I went to the glades in Floriday and we went on an airboat thinger and although our tools were a bit more sophisticated, we did that a poker thingy too :P

Sometimes men (metrosexual or not) just need to be men....with other men. *shrugs* I draw the line at strip clubs. If my man wants to be a man at a strip club, then I want to go too!

Alligators are very unpredictable as with any wild animal. They are my favorite animal though and when I help participate in research with them it's something my husband gets so nervous about. I work in part with a zoo in New Orleans

If we had gators around...my husband would probably want to go too. When it comes to men... sometimes all you have left is prayer.

Eh...it is FL and that's what the men around here do...when in season...of course, you have to have a license and have your name pulled from a lottery to be able to legally hunt gator around here....and there is a short season....

Well, What the ****!!!!! If bored and in Florida, let's go piss off an alligator. Sounds like something my X would do.

Problem is----I probably would have been right beside him, and poking with a bigger stick.

Of course, I'm a female and smarter than he is. Therefore, I would be standing behind him while poking the damned alligator.
