I recently finally finished season 4 of LOST. I'm dying to know what everyone's theories are about the Island and the upcoming season in January. Who's your favorite character and your least and why?
The only thing that is consistent is that I can't predict what is going to happen! My theory is that Penelope's father owns everything but beyond that- no freaking clue!!
My favorite is Sayid mostly because, well, Naveen Andrews is georgous! My favorites just from an interesting character stand point are Locke and Ben. This season just blew my mind!
I feel like the island is a gov't experiment gone awry. But I can't even form any theories. Would love to hear some though!
I admit, the show confuses the **** out of me sometimes and the 10pm timeframe meant that I was propping my eyes open w/toothpicks (5a.m. wakeup call for me ). Hence, I often ah, missed stuff because I was too tired. Hoping for an earlier timeslot this season.
They almost lost me as a viewer during the 2nd season w/all the haphazardness of when new episodes were on and having umpteen repeats between new shows. Glad they finally figured out that it's better to show new eps even if it means waiting a bit to see them all.
LOVE Locke and Ben -- they are so kindred spirits; so much alike. LOVE Kate; think there is much more to her than we've been led to believe. Can not get enough of Sawyer -- loved him from the get go. Seriously, what's not to like? Ooo, and I read that the first two episodes of this season he'll have trouble finding his shirt after jumping out of the helicopter and swimming back to the island.
Have no theories but have read many. Some are so involved you'd need to know quantum physics to figure them out. I think it will be something much simpler than that; odd but simple. Lost is a sci-fi show. It was never billed as such because they didn't think it would get the viewers but it's def sci-fi genre. Gotta expect the unexpected.
Anyone else here an Alias fan? (My fav show ever). The music on Lost is soooooo Alias-like -- guess that's J.J. Abrams doing!

I have Season 4 sitting on my TIVO right now, cuz DH is a dweeb and wont finish Season 3 - and wont let me watch it without him.....
I am a Lostie as well. I learned not to have theories, because they're always wrong. I LOVE not having any idea where they're going with it. My favorite characters are Locke, Ben, and Sawyer.
I'm also interested to see what Fringe will be like in September, since it's a JJ Abrams show.
