Im New!

  • Hello Everyone! i just joined TODAY i have tried a few different Way's Of Eating this past year, but all & all it has come down to Low Calorie/somewhat Low Carb for ME... my BMR given by Harris The Benedict Formula says i should eat 1750 calories daily to LOSE... i hope this is true i have been keeping it between 1500 - 1700 a day and hopefully between This Saturday & Next Saturday i will see some movement on my Scale well... i just wanted to pop in and Introduce myself and let you all know that I WILL BE HERE ALOT VISITING AND ASKING QUESTIONS!     Sounds like you've got a great plan. I too follow a low calorie, somewhat low carb plan and it's fabulous for me.

  • WOW Gina! i took a look at your Pics and we started off at the Same Weight! 265 i hope & pray that i can get down somewhere close to 165... your picures are my thinspiration!

  • I am new to this calorie counting as well. Weight Watchers does not work for me . I try to stay between 1500 to 1800 calories. I hope it works.
  • Woo hoo! I started out on my own counting calories, slowly started changing how I ate (otherwise, how the heck can you stay on target!) found this stie and I've done a 180 on eating healthy. It's amazing how much better I feel!

    Sounds as though you have a solid plan to start. One nice thing about calorie counting is that if you aren't getting results, you can tweak your program to fit your needs.
