Default New and Scared with a tint of shyness

Hi there all, Im Nyree, from New Zealand and accidently came across this website and thought Id browse around. This is not something I would normally do. Im very shy due to my weight, and started getting depressed. I would never thought of explaining myself on here however I am in search for help. Im 32 years of age weighing at 185kgs and im 5'9. Im scared of being this huge and I need a change... Problem is I dont know where to start! I really have to change ways for the best of me I know that much. Im becomming parranoid due to being over weight assuming every one is talking about me etc - so hence reasion why I thought maybe this is the best place to start, and hopefully make some new friends.

Hi and welcome.

Tell us a little more about what you'd like to eat and do for exercise and we'll see if we can't find you a few threads where you'll feel right at home.

Thank you very much , what i normally eat is every thing and any thing ive been trying to eat with moderation but some how when i see food that word goes right out of my dictionary. Exercise, not much i can do with this weather. Ive tried to do some exercise indoors, due to this weather we have here its terrible but i have been trying. I think i just need to know what direction i need to head in regards to a diet and follow that track, I just dont have a straight path as in yet!

Hi Nyree!! You have come to the right place. Surf around - you will find a plan that fits you. Maybe just try tracking your food to start. That way you get a kind of a baseline to work from. I find it easier to have a fairly set plan, I use calorie counting.

Good for you trying to get some exercise in - bad weather is a good time to try some DVD's for an indoor workout. Lots of chicks here swear by Leslie Sansone Walking off the Pounds....maybe you can find something at the library? That way you can try different ones without coughing up tons of money.

We're here for ya, girl!!
