Default Mini Elliptical?

Saw this in the Sky Mall mag the other day on the way home from vacation... I googled it and found very few reviews, but for @ $100 you get an 18 pound elliptical with a tiny foot print that easily fits under a bed or in a closet.

Anyone have any experience with one of these? I'm considering purchasing the one on Amazon distributed by Sunny Distributor Inc but would like a few more reviews. I'm a renter on a tight budget with a very small apartment so this seems perfect, but I hate to throw money away on junk. Any comments would be appreciated!

Thanks

Although it may call itself an elliptical, it is really much closer to a stepper. It has an extremely short stride length which is why I would call it a stepper instead. (For a standard elliptical, unless you are extremely short, 18" stride length should be the minimum)

If you have knee issues, I wouldn't go with it. If you hate steppers, I wouldn't go with it. If you want to try it, I'd look for some place with a decent return policy.

Thanks! I'll think it over a bit. I have a lateral thigh trainer, but it's very different from the ellipticals I've used and I can't go more than 10-15 minutes on it.

I love spending time on the elliptical, but don't have easy access to one. I was hoping that this would be great to keep in front of the TV.
