n00b to 3fC
Hello!
I thought I'd introduce myself finally. I have to confess I have been lurking and checking out this site for about a week now, and it has become my favorite website! All of you on here that I have run across have been extremely encouraging!
When I was 25 years old or less I was always in shape, but a little chunky. Some where along the way I gained 70lbs, I don't really know why, but it happened. For about the last eight years I have been struggling with that albatross. I managed to lose 50lbs only to gain it back and more. I was able to lose the "and more" but that left me where I started.
So here I am, where I started, starting over again. I have nearly completed the first week of my diet (started Wednesday last week). I am proud of myself, and I am excited for the first time in my life to be making this change!
A big part of this change is because I've started doing physical activities, and it seems that being successful at these things I have to drop the pounds. I'm also tired of feeling ashamed when my husband introduces me to people.
