Smile Saying hello!

Hi everyone.

I am new here and just wanted to introduce myself. I have been exploring the site and reading posts for a couple weeks now and I just love it. You are all so insightful, supportive, and kind! I'm excited to get to know you all better.

Anyway, my name is JoElle. I am 25 and have been married for a year and a half now. I am a CPA and doing the office job thing and I swear it has made staying thin and in shape so much harder. Being inactive all day is tough.

I am a french fry and potato chip junkie.

This is my fourth week of my lifestyle change and I am excited about how things are going and how much better I feel already. This has to be worth the dedication and time, right?

I am aiming to lose about 40 lbs. Not sure about the exact weight, but I hope I will know when I get there.

Keep up all the good work!

JoElle

Hi there honey! I love this site, too! It has been the biggest tool for me in my weight-loss journey.

As for french fries and potato chips I have tried this: Take a potato and cut it into strips and put it on a cookie sheet on some foil with some pam to keep them from sticking. Then add some pam on the cut potatoes and put some salt and pepper to taste. Cook them at 420 for 20-30 minutes and you have a low-cal french fry or chips! It can be also used for sweet potatoes. SO YUMMY and you only have to count the calories for a potato!

Hope this help! And welcome! Message me if you ever need anything.

Hi JoElle -- I just had to give a quick agreement to Taylor86's post. I've tried these and they are really good. I love the sweet potato fries, and some end up as chips because of my slicing skills are not very uniform!
